For 2016, Roland again raises the bar with the introduction of the TD-50 series V-Drums. The TD-50 is effectively the fourth generation of V-Drums following the TD-30, TD-20, and the original TD-10 V-Drums kits.

TD-50 Drum Sound Module – Completely redesigned from the ground up, the TD-50 has a brand new sound set featuring Roland’s new “Primal Tone Modeling” technology that surpasses the playability and expressiveness even beyond the popular TD-30 SuperNatural sound engine.

The TD-50 series will be initially available in two kit configurations – TD-50KV and TD-50K which both feature a 5 piece configuration with a “one up, two down tom pad configuration. Also available will be the optional KD-A22 which allows the drummer to convert a conventional 22” acoustic kick drum to an electronic kick drum for a striking acoustic look and feel.
